Grow Local Live! Interview

Norie Huddle grew up in the woods of Northern Virginia and, without knowing it, became an environmental activist at age 5 when she heard a noise in the woods, went to investigate, and arrived at a clearing just as a giant bulldozer was toppling a beautiful big tree.

She ran home, terrified, thinking: "If this is happening all over, we're in trouble." Later she learned that it IS happening all over.  And today, the rate of forest destruction is far more terrifying than ever. "The frog does not drink up the pond in which it lives."

So, her life and writing has been a personal quest to find the way that people of goodwill can come together and declare a new "life game".
