Vandana Shiva is a world renowned environmental activist and author of more than 20 books on the multiple, harmful impacts of globalization. She founded Navdanya in India 25 years ago to champion the rights of small farmers and indigenous peoples; and promote organic agriculture, seed saving, biodiversity conservation, and fair trade.
